FBC Kids & Youth

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

Who we are...

We actively promote and engage in safe, fun activities all throughout the year to help our children and youth learn about Christ’s love for them. We pray that through their church related experiences, and partnering with families,
they will understand that we have been given everlasting life when we accept Jesus as our Savior!

A nursery is available for newborns - 3 years
FBC Kids is 4 years - 5th grade
FBC Youth is 6th grade - 12th grade

We offer a mid-week program during the school year for our pre-k - high school kids, focusing on worship, age specific interactive lessons and small groups. During the summer months we meet bi-weekly to help stay connected with the kids and families, but our main focus is on VBS in July, which includes 3 days of worship, Bible study, activities and games, and a VBS Celebration Sunday Service. We also do a lock-in VBS for the youth that same week. Both groups have a mission focus for the week.

Other activities that we do throughout the year include service projects, fall festival, Christmas caroling, glow with Jesus Easter event, leadership conferences and more!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2025 HIGHLIGHTS

To The Parents of Children…
Relax! God put the wiggle in children. Don’t feel that you have to suppress it in God’s house. All are welcome!

Sit toward the front where it is easier for your little ones to see and hear what is going on.
They get tired of looking at the back of people’s heads.

Quietly explain the parts of the service and actions of the pastor, ushers, worship team, etc.

Sing the songs and pray. Children learn behavior by copying you.

If you have to leave the service with your child, feel free to do so, but please come back.
As Jesus said, “Let the children come to me.”

Remember that the way we welcome children in church directly affects the way they respond to the Church, to God and to one another. Let them know that they are at home in the house of worship.
